"The distance is quite simply much too far for me to row, it seems farther than ever before"

Ok so I went to Denmark for my first music festival last week and it rrrocked! I was a bit lazy but all the bands I went to see were good and I saw all the things I wanted to see plus a few extras
good company, good music, bad food and bad wine but you can't have it all, my neck seems to have packed up as well I think I needed a better pillow. I don't really know what a defining moment of the weekend would have been, perhaps Death Cab playing the epic 'Translanticism' or being blown away by the power and sincerity of Martha Wainwright's voice. Dancing rather badly to 'Clap your hands say yeah!' was also something to remember but some of the people I met will probably cause the enduring memories.

Anyway it was fun and I hope if possible to go back next year, there were surprisingly few English people there which was refreshing.
